Overview

We are the Resource and Research Center for Beaver County & Local History. We accept donations of ALL Beaver County historical documents and family histories.

We are currently raising funds to complete the newspaper collection. If you would like to help in this effort please donate by clicking the “Donate” button at the top of this page or by sending your check to: Beaver County Genealogy & History Center, 250 East End Avenue, Beaver, PA 15009.

Our yearbook collection contains many yearbooks for all Beaver County school districts. We are looking for yearbooks to complete the collection. If you have yearbooks from Beaver County schools and would be willing to donate them, please contact the Beaver County Genealogy & History Center at (724) 775-1775, to see if they may be ones for which we are looking.

Public Records:

  • Births up to 1906
  • Marriage up to 1971 (with searchable index)
  • Death up to 1906
  • Indexes:
    • Wills up to 1961
    • Deeds up to 1920

City Directories & Telephone Books:

We have a large collection of Beaver County City Directories and Telephone Books beginning in the 1800’s (the collection is not complete)

Newspapers:

Beaver County newspapers from early 1800’s to the present

Biographical Histories:

Published histories by Warner, Bausman, Jordan, and Beck

Military:

  • Bates Regimental Histories
  • ‘They Served With Honor’
  • Burials

Tax Lists:

Beaver County tax lists: 1800’s to early 1900’s (not complete)

Surname Files:

Nearly 10,000 Beaver County surname files containing varying information about the families
