Research Requests
Research requests are handled by our well-qualified, volunteer, genealogists and researchers. Costs vary with query requests and time necessary to complete them. Standard fee is $20.00 per half hour, paid in advance. Payment can be made via PayPal or check written to: Beaver County Genealogy & History Center. Obituary Requests
Our collection includes obituaries published from the mid 1800’s to the present day. The fee for copies of obituaries with a known date of death is $5.00 per obituary with a self-addressed, stamped envelope. If paying via PayPal, the fee is $6.00 (to cover PayPal fees, envelope and postage). If the date is unknown, the standard research rate will apply ($20.00 per half hour). Fees must be paid in advance. Be aware that not everyone had an obituary. Marriage License and Application Record Requests
Beaver County marriage records began in 1885 with a few between 1852-1854. We have scanned the original marriage records and have created an index, searchable by our staff, for Beaver County marriages. Included are records up to 1971.
